   After seventeen consecutive years of Pingüinos, in 1998, and when the concentration reached its majority, the awards or distinctions "PINGÜINO DE ORO" were created, with the aim of rewarding and distinguishing institutions in each edition on the one hand or personalities who have stood out for their hobby or their support of Motorcycling and the professionals of the Motorcycling sport who have stood out the most in the recent championships.

These are the winners of the PINGÜINOS 2020 edition (follow the link by clicking here) .

* You can also check the list of winners in previous editions of Pingüinos.

As has been customary for eleven editions, we organized a humanitarian campaign to help those most in need in parallel to the Concentration, counting on the solidarity of the motorcyclists attending the concentration, year after year they demonstrate their commitment to the most bloody causes of tragedies or injustices, which unfortunately are not lacking.

BancoDeAlimentos.jpg

If on previous occasions they were collected: toys for Bosnian children in 96, as the first solidarity campaign, food for immigrants from Zaite and Rwanda in 97, food was also provided to Sahrawi refugees in two editions in 98 and in 2000, with food and medicine for those affected by “Hurricane Mitch” in 1999, with school supplies for Central America in the 2001 edition and food for refugees from Afghanistan in 2002, food for the neediest children in Argentina, those of the province of Tucumán; in the 2003 edition, food and school supplies, again for the Saharawi refugees in the 2004 edition, and destined for the Haitian people in the 2005 edition, being the 2006 Pingüinos campaign called "Operation Book", because it was that the material that was collected in it. In this new edition, Penguins 2008, the campaign launched is once again "Operation Kilo of Food", in which non-perishable staple foods will be collected, such as sugar, flour, rice, powdered milk, pasta, etc.

It is intended that all motorists, more than 30,000, who attend the winter appointment of Pingüinos 2020, continue to demonstrate their solidarity with those most in need and bring in their luggage at least one kilo of basic food that will be sent to their destination on the dates after the concentration is held.

ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS

Do not stick points or sharp objects in the trees, or peel them.

Try to make bonfires in the places marked by the Organization: the intense heat they produce can kill the tree even if it does not burn it.

Do not add too much wood to the fire: too big a fire is dangerous, it can smother the pines and a lot of fuel and energy is wasted. Feed the bonfire little by little.

Constantly keep an eye on the bonfires. Don't leave a fire burning and go away; always leave it off by removing the wood that has not been consumed and pouring dirt on it.

Before lighting the fire clear fuel (dry grass, dry leaves or twigs) the 50 cm around to prevent the fire from escaping.

The forestry agents work taking care of the forest and know it well, follow its instructions to maintain safety and avoid accidents.

The delimitation of the land is NOT allowed, except for the delimitation of roads or reserved areas of the Organization.

TORCH PARADE REGULATIONS

Due to strict security regulations, and wanting to recover the seriousness and the motive of tribute to the missing comrades that this act represents, we are forced to limit the number of participants in the parade.

To participate, you must request accreditation at the Classifications office (Token Delivery), justifying being registered.

Priority of participation will be given to representatives of motorcycle clubs and special reasons, having to participate with a passenger who will be the one who carries the torch.

Participants must be in the closed area created for this purpose, 30 minutes before the start of the parade.

It is totally forbidden to light the torches before starting the parade and outside the special lighting zone.

Participants will abide by the organization's instructions for the proper functioning of the parade.

Participants will not be able to leave the parade until its completion in the area set up for this purpose.

At all times the participants must adopt an aptitude of respect and prudence to avoid any accident.

* The fact of participating in the parade means accepting these rules.

FIREPLACE REGULATIONS

DISTRIBUTION  OF WOOD FOR  FIREPLACES IN THE CAMPING AREA

From the Turismoto Club, organizer of the Penguin Concentration, we want to ask you for a greater degree of understanding and collaboration to ensure that the distribution of firewood does not become, as usual, a problem.

After evaluating other alternatives for the distribution of firewood, we think that the solution is to improve collective behavior by addressing the arguments and recommendations that we make below.

  - Firewood is free, a detail that the Organization has with all those registered who decide to camp in the pine forest.

  - We are accused of not providing enough firewood, when the circumstance occurs that, every year, at the end of the concentration, we remove several tons of firewood that is scattered around the camping area.

  - The distribution is done in a staggered way  throughout the hours that the concentration lasts and taking into account the influx of registrants.

  - You must be aware that you cannot make a bonfire to heat a small number of people. Those who travel alone or in pairs, should try to group with others and light a single fire.

  - The bonfires must be fed with discretion and little by little. It is not about burning wood and making the fire higher, but rather maintaining an embers that provide the necessary heat.

We ask for your solidarity to:

  - Do not supply more than the necessary firewood;

  - Do not hide the wood inside the tents;

  - Do not use the logs as seats or as bases to build benches;

  - Share your excess firewood with those who do not have it;

  - The Surveillance and Security Service may remove firewood from those who hoard amounts greater than those apparently necessary.

Is totally prohibited:

  - Cut or prune firewood from the pine forest;

  - Position the bonfire next to the pines, it is necessary to avoid any environmental deterioration caused by the flames;

  - The sale of firewood within the camping area.

Those motorcycle clubs or groups that bring their own firewood must notify this circumstance at the Information office.
